We will get a social studies study guide Friday. The test will be next Wednesday-February 22.

Please send your Jump Rope for Heart envelope by Thursday.

Due to the Alabama game tonight we will have our math test Wednesday.

The Varsity Cheerleaders will have a cheerleading clinic Saturday, January 7, from 8:00 to 12:00 . Parents may watch from 11:30 to 12:00.The clinic is for grades K4-6 grade and will be in the gym. Bring the form and $30.00 tothe clinic. A snack will be provided.

Dear Parents,

We are taking up $2.00 for your child to have cookies and milk on the Polar Express Day.
Next Wednesday. Students may wear pajamas and a robe. Also they may bring a pillow
and a blanket.

We have two students who need to take one more test and everyone will have made their goal.
We also have our regular test this week. Your child is supposed to copy homework from the
board every day. I remind the class each day to copy it as I write it on the board.

Dear Parents,

We had a faculty meeting this morning and I have more dates for you. Also, please read the Blog
before this one for dates to remember.

The Holiday Market is this Thursday and Friday.
Thursday December 1 - 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday December 2 - 8:00 am to 12:oopm
I know for sure that we will have my husband's personal favorite cook here with her goodies for
sale.

The students get out at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 15 and on the 16.

I hope each of you had a very happy Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for.

The Christmas Play will be : Dress Rehearsal 2:oo December 12.

December 16 we get out for Christmas.

I hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We return to school on November 28,2011.

We have a few people who need to make their goal in AR. Encourage your child to read.

We will be starting a new novel when we return to school. (Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing)

Be sure to help your child with the eight family in multiplication. Each child has a nice card with
the tables on it.

Dear Parents,

We will be out of school Friday, November 11,2011, for Veteran's Day.

Math test Tuesday Students have a study guide.

Spelling and Reading will be on Thursday. The spelling list was sent home last Friday.

We had two Troy University Nursing students come to our classroom and do a demonstration
on handwashing and brushing your teeth. They gave the students some very good
handouts.

We have four students that have already made their AR goal. Great reading class. I had one
student ask me today if he could please read his AR book. I was thrilled!

Dear Parents,

I want to thank everyone who worked at the Fall Festival.

We should be able to have a regular week. Look for your child to bring home their part in our
Christmas play. Both third grades and both second grades will have a play on December 13.
Not everyone will have a speaking part. Some children will sing.

Dear Parents,

I sent a note home Monday about the Fall Festival workers and the party food. Check with your
child if you haven't seen it.

We are reading our AR books and taking tests. I think the children have realized how important
it is to start early. Please continue to encourage them to start early.
